問題点 （Issue）

eBook（電子書籍）を使用するために、Adobe Acrobat 6/7 または Adobe Reader 6/7 のアクティベートを実行すると、以下のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

理由 （Reason）

2009 年 3 月 30 日以降、Acrobat 6/7 および Adobe Reader 6/7 で、eBook を使用するために新規にアクティベートを行うことができません。アクティベート完了済みの Acrobat/Adobe Reader については継続して使用し、eBook を参照することができます。

さらに、Acrobat または Adobe Reader を使用して eBook を 2 台のコンピュータで共有している場合、共有が継続されますが、同一の Adobe ID でアクティベートを行い、ブックを共有していない場合は eBook を共有することができません。これは、ブックを最初に共有する際、2 台目のコンピュータが 1 台目のコンピュータの情報でアクティベートを更新する必要があるためです。

Acrobat または Adobe Reader でアクティベートを行えなかった場合でも、Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.1 の初回インストール時に、Acrobat の eBook コンテンツを読み込むことが可能です。

解決方法 （Solution）

この問題を解決するには、Digital Editions を使用して eBook を参照します。Digital Editions は、以下の弊社 Web サイトからダウンロードできます。

追加情報 （Additional Information）

Acobat 6/7 および Adobe Reader 6/7 の eBook プラグインが通信しアクティベートするサーバは、2009 年 3 月 30 日以降使用できなくなります。Acrobat および Adobe Reader　のバージョン 8 以降、このプラグインは使用されていないため、この問題は発生しません。
